White Oak Golf & Equestrian Community
White Oak Golf & Equestrian Community is a unique development located in the thermal belt at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. A spectacular Arnold Palmer designed championship golf course will open at the end of 2008/early 2009 and equestrian facilities designed by Captain Mark Phillips are also well underway. The village centre provides a real sense of community and undoubtedly serves as the focal point and heart and soul of the development. A family activity centre, assisted living facility, private vineyards and clubhouse to include an Irish Pub are just some the additional facilities planned for White Oak.
Construction at White Oak began in earnest in 2007 and over 70 homeowners currently enjoy panoramic views of the championship course and Blue Ridge Mountains. A range of village homes and villas in the heart of the community are available for purchase. Sustainable green development is a critical aspect of the construction work as owners generate a sense of humour and hospitality within a community that possesses a definite Irish feel to it.
The White Oak development partners include Austin McHale, Leonard and Gene Kinsella and Mike Savidge. Carr Golf Services has been working with the partners and development team to deliver a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase awareness of the complex and communicate the unique selling points - and ultimately deliver a greater sales volume from a wider market.
