Carr Golf Services takes over the management of New Forest Golf Club
On September 30th Carr Golf Services and its sister company Golf Course Maintenance Services (GCMS) were appointed to manage and operate New Forest Golf Club. Both companies will be working closely with the existing team on the ground to improve the presentation of the golf course, enhance clubhouse service and grow the business. Designed by world renowned designer and former Walker Cup Captain, Peter McEvoy, the Westmeath venue is a parkland gem, its undulating features highlighting some of the finest putting surfaces and fairways in Ireland. In addition the Clubhouse, a converted 18th Century Manor House, boasts luxury locker room facilities, pro shop, meeting rooms, restaurant and a conservatory bar with panoramic views.
On the news of this announcement the Captain of New Forest Golf Club Gerry Gavin said: “I would like to express my delight in the appointment of Carr Golf Services in the role of management at New Forest Golf Club. This represents a very positive step in securing the future of the club and will give us the foundation to grow and develop. We know we have a fantastic course and club and with the new management team from Carr Golf Services, that bring a wealth of experience in this area, New Forest will have a bright future”.
