In November 2010 Moyvalley Golf Club officially came under new management in the guise of Carr Golf Services, and its sister company Golf Course Maintenance Services (GCMS). The Darren Clarke designed championship course, lovingly carved out of an exquisite piece of land, forms the centrepiece of what is already being talked about as one of the most impressive venues in the country.

An aggressive pricing strategy & marketing programme is being implemented and we are confident that Moyvalley Golf Club will become ‘the premier’ golf club to join in the Irish midlands. Carr Golf Services will be working with the members to increase membership numbers and improve standards. We are already in discussion with a number of catering providers with a view to opening the bar and restaurant. In addition Gerry, Ian and the course staff have done an inedible job in conditioning the golf course over the last four to six weeks. Huge improvements are already evident”.
